You may be asking why I chose the name “Kinetic Esthétique”. Well, the word Esthétique is the French spelling of the Aesthetic which means “pertaining to a sense of the beautiful” (adj.) or “a philosophical theory or idea of what is aesthetically valid at a given time and place” (n.) and dealing with beauty this word was an obvious choice. The word Kinetic refers to motion. The world beauty and fashion is always in flux, and what is in vogue today, will be obsolete tomorrow. Thus the Kinetic Esthétique – the ever changing world of style.
In the blog will be commentary, product reviews, information on local events, and links to relevant online content. In time I would also like to include brief articles from fellow makeup artists, photographers, models, filmmakers and actors who can offer insight and advice to anyone desiring a career in the arena of fashion and movies/television.

2009 Milestones/Goals Reached
**Successfully auditioned for a position as a makeup artist with Roman Pictures. Now I am not only a resident MUA, I am also a member of the management team.
**I got to do my first "celebrity" makeup. My client was Bianca Richardson from Cycle 13 of America's Next Top Model, and the event was the DCTV50 Fashion & Beauty Lifestyle Expo in December 2009. To see Bianca and I together click HERE.
**Received my airbrushtraining and completed my kit by year's end.
